QoS Design participates in the 2nd edition of Rencontres Africa 2017
5-6 October 2017

The second edition of "Rencontres Africa 2017" was held from 5 to 6 October 2017 in Gammarth, in the northern suburbs of Tunis. Two other events of the same type were also held almost simultaneously in Abidjan (2 to 3 October 2017) and in Nairobi (5 to 6 October 2017). The French government was the initiator of this meeting (French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the presidency of the government).

450 businessmen and officials from Africa and France, the Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, the Burkina Faso Prime Minister Paul Kaba Thieba and the French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe participated in the event.

"Rencontres Africa" will now be organized alternately in France and Africa. The French government's objective is to strengthen the links between Europe and its neighbors in the southern Mediterranean and to strengthen its presence in the region, over the next few years, by financing projects such as new technologies, and, above all, in the framework of public-private partnership. Several symposia on new urbanism and mobility, smart grids, renewable energies and the structuring of investment operations in Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria were organized. The digital sector was a central topic in the various exchanges.
